Eligibility Requirements
To Qualify
- • Be an electric or gas customer of a Mass Save utility
- • Purchase an ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostat
- • Install in a Massachusetts residence
- • Submit application within 90 days of purchase
- • Maximum 2 rebates per household
Not Eligible
- • Basic programmable thermostats (must be WiFi-enabled)
- • Thermostats without ENERGY STAR certification
- • Commercial/business installations
- • Previous rebate recipients (beyond 2-unit limit)
